Corporate finance
Hamid Mehran holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and has been on the faculty of Boston College and Northwestern University. The main focus of Hamid's research is corporate finance. His papers have been published in numerous journals, including the Journal of Finance and the Journal of Financial Economics. Findings from his work have been cited in Business Week, Chicago Tribune, CPA Journal, Economist, the Investor Business Daily, the Des Moines Sunday Register, the Wall Street Journal, Boston Business Journal, and WGBH-Boston.
